I just read about this feature this weekend....to where you can purchase pre-paid minutes and use the OnStar system as the cell phone....totally hands free and voice activated. I could really use this option!

yea i use it al the time, especially in areas where there are lots of cops( you cant talkon phone while driving in ny), also when im bored, il keep pressing the onstar button till i get a sexy operator...and chat with her for a while..they are verrry verry friendlyy

It is a monthly charge, although we get our first year for free. The calling feature you have to pay extra for though. You prepurchase the minutes, and when you want to call you hit the OnStar button and say the name and it will automatically dial the number associated with the nametag. The other voice comes over your speakers. You can also receive incoming calls. Pretty cool feature.
