What's the old jet and new jet? I thought they are the same when you bring it in for the recall. Anyway, I still didn't bring my car in for service and I'm not sure if I will since there are people on here that saids it might make it worst. Anyone know if the recall is manditory?

the new tranny design has the jet kit built in.
as for it making it worse. it doesnt. its pure coincidence that they have had failures shortly after it. the 3rd gear clutch pack that ever one has fail on them can be going months before it actaully dies. all mine (3) took about 1000-1500 miles to die from when i first noticed it (about a week to 2 for me) i spend ALL day in my car an notice every thing.
get the kit. if you dont and that part actaull does fail it may void you from warranty

I would get the kit installed. I just hand mine installed last weekend. Took them about 45 min or so. They said 2nd gear looked good. I was like the new tranny only has 5k on it. I am on my second tranny first one failed at 51k. The only thing I have noticed is that my shifts for 2nd gear to 3rd are a bit smoother since the kit was installed. Like FSTTYMS1 said time will tell.
