**another slipping tranny Help**
my buddy just bought a used 99 tl from a non acura-dealership.
His tranny is slipping between 1st and 2nd gear once in a while. The car has 51,000 miles on it.
Is it covered in any way for a new tranny or does he have to pay the full price???? help

have hime battle with the used car lot, if not, have him battle with an acura dealer. But acura dealers usually dont take care of someone that buys a car from a used lot versus their own pre owned lot.

go to the acura site and put in your vin number. they will tell you if it is included in the extendedd warranty. also i bought my used tl from a non-acura dealership and it isn't a hassle dealing with the acura dealership about service under warranty.
