Well after slipping shifting from 2nd to 3rd gear for a few weeks the transmission finally got real bad. I start to drive Sat. night and I notice bad slipping in 1st gear. It would not repeat once the car was warm. I was thinking this can't be good when the dash lights up with TCS, and check engine lights. I knew at that point it was toast. I make it home and had to wait until monday to take my car into the dealer. Monday comes and I drive very slowly to the dealer. I was hesitant going with I/H/E but they never said a word about it. I'll have my car back tomorrow hopefully good as new.

I just got my car back today with a new tranny, ECU, and fuel pressure regulator all covered under warranty. He said that it was the 2003 redesigned software and that I should be alright. It shifts smooth but I'll be taking it easy for a while. I also had a rear brake job done while I was at it. I am very happy with the way they treated me, actually I'm suprised. The service manager used to fix up cars so he knows where I'm coming from.
