angle-ing my HID'S

If you pop the hood you will see above teh headlight on the black trim piece there is a arrow with up and down. Below that on the back of the headlight is an adjustment screw. At night (easiest to see) park facing a wall so you can see the light pattern, and start adjusting. I forgot what size bolt it is but a small 1/4 inch wratchet will adgust them
yup its a 10. It'll adjust up and down. left to right is handled by a small grey wheel that can be turned by hand. just stand in front of the headlight and look down at it, you'll figure it out.

Kris you're not going to mention the obvious in this thread?!
The driver's side headlight is purposely aimed lower than the passenger one to reduce glare for oncoming traffic. It's best that you leave this slight difference. It creates a "step" look on the road, and all car headlights are like this now - the beam patterns are designed for it. By making them level, it will make it seem that one is brighter than the other. This is from my experience.
You should only adjust them if they are too high or too low, or drastically uneven.

looks like they arent installed properly? you Are probably going to have to figure out why you cant raise it up any higher. Does the head light housing itself look like its sitting the way it should (IE fitment) maybe its not bolted in corectly?

sorry for double posting, but i was redirected to this thread and i thot this would be a better thread to resurrect.
so only the 02-03 adjust via a 10 mm and the 99-01 uses a philips?
as i look straight down, what jumps at me is a silver 10MM bolt (2001)
which way should i turn it? i tried both ways and it doesnt seem to budge, is it something that has to be turned a lot?
