What your problem is?
I don't want to hijack the thread, but where do you find the clear or white bulbs for the rear turn signals? I have been looking to take out my amber ones and put in some white ones. What is the replacement bulb if they make a white one that fits????

Amber or red are the only street legal colors for the rear turn signal. I have the platinum coated ones for my '99. I have the DEPO aftermarket tails.
Try this: http://www.cardomain.com/item/APC504144B

Here is the link for what you want:
http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/P...p-4766/c-10101
White Neon-coated Type 7440 LED Performance M3 Bulb Each ZX472774T $9.95 not including shipping.
As for the original question: hey guys wasup...i need to get an Amber bulb that will fit a 99-01 rear turn signal size? u guys know where i can find it?..or a part number?...thanks
You will need to look for a Rear turn sig = 7440 (qty 2) that is in amber or red, if indeed that is what is needed for a 2000 Acura (remember if you don't change your harness you will need to look for these lights.)
When replacing your 99-01 you don't necessarily need a harness you can clip on the same one, the only issue is with the turn signal. 1) It is not the same size and 2) It is the wrong color (white), it needs to be amber or red to meet our "street driving laws". Many have changed it to white and have not been busted, but you can be....

If anyone is interested...
I have amber leds in my tails and front turn signals. I love the on - off effect leds give, however they do give you the "hyperblinking" effect which I happen to like. This can be fixed by buying a load resistor kit. Led's and the resistor kit can be purchased at www.superbright leds.com. Sorry I don't have any pics - I am too broke to be that technilogically advanced ight now
