i don't do much posting in this forum but i do like to read everyone's stories of their TL...but last night i had a horrible dream that i was cruzing around in my TL and while at a stoplight the engine just died...it wouldn't move...i woke up in a cold sweat...am i crazy??? i guess it might have been because lately i've been reading about people's transmission problems...anyways...i guess i'm just turning into an Acura TL.com fanatic...like many others here...

 

if you're crazy I am too. I had a dream I took my TL to the track to run a quarter mile and I ran a 23 second quarter mile. I WAS PISSED!... then I woke up.

hahahah, you guys are funny. I havnt had any dreams about my TL dying but I have experienced a complete tranmission loss once...and let me tell you from experience, its not very fun being stranded on the side of the road at 3 in the morning.

 

I had a dream, or a nightmare rather, that my TL got stolen. Man, I woke up and had to go look out the window to make sure I wasn't going nucking futs. Well, it was there Ahhhhh...

 

I had a terriable dream where my brother parked my TL beside a rusty truck!

 

yeah i had a crazy ass dream to. i was in the back seat of my tl. hehe. kinda gets graphic. not for children

 

Sprite, did you get your ride not too long ago?

One of the motivational guest speaker we had at the company said that if you focus on things, i.e. just get something new, everything about it will be magnified. Scratches seem to appear magically, dents, every other car is TL, and so on.

I believe that you just love/care so much about your car, that you were actually dreaming about it.

It's all good cause it means you will take better care of your car.

Are you sure that it's not the alcohol that makes you see things that are not there.

 

I had a dream that I flipped mine. There was some sort of ramp or something on the right, and I hit it. I woke up in a pool of sweat. At least I hope it was sweat.

someone plopped an enormous deck on my tl in mine. ahh... the ricer's dream / nightmare.

my only and last dream i ever had of my TL was while i was driving on the highway...
i was with my friend using the SS ....
i shifted all the way to gear 5 going at like 100km/h ...then my friend was like why don't u shift higher and i'm like u can't....
then he's like "yea u can watch"...he opens the golve box and pushes a butten ...then he's like "ok there try now"
i shift up and boom there's a gear 6....
hehe

weird dream....i think it's cuz of this forum..

 

actually...its been over a year since i've had my ride....i usually have good dreams about it...this was the first bad one...kinda wierd...but i do love my ride...and every little thing that happens to it seems to be magnified 10x lil scratches look huge to me...and i do notice a lot of TL's out there...maybe i need to see a psychiatrist???
