Am I being too picky?

I bought my 2003 type S about a month ago, everything so far is very good. I like the car very much, I bought it with 100k on it and it had its tranny replaced by Acura at 90k. They also replaced the tranny mount at that time as well. The car needed new tires and an alignment, which I have done already. I am getting the timing belt and water pump replaced tomorrow.

Now for the "picky" part. The car rides very smooth with little to no road noise from 0 - 70 mph. Once I get up over 80 (yeah, I know) I start to notice a low level vibration and I can see my gps vibrate. I think this could be because of a "less than perfect" balance on the new tires or possibley a motor mount. I've driven oher TL's before (when I was in the car business) and I specifically remember them being as smooth as silk up to 100 mph+. Am I just being too picky here?

could be the tires or rims or a motor mount or a cv bearing
Tell the tech about the problem so it can be ckd during a pre-work test drive

dont forget to replace ALL the t belt tensioners and roller pullies-- for safety

I say re-balance first, then go from there.

I really like the Hunter `Road Force` tire balance machine

It measures tire runout and corrects for rim distortion etc--can even suggest where on the car to place each tire for best ride
Makes it super smooth thru the 100s~

Balance then ROTATE the tires. See if that changes things.
