Post Alternative Uses for Type-S Piece

After reading about how easy (and it was to easy - just tugged a little on the hot trunk stick ons and off it came) it was, I decided to take my "Type-S" and the "3.2 TL" badges off. And you know, it really does look better without the chrome pieces!

Now, here's a thought - what's the best alternative use for the "Type-S" or "3.2 TL" pieces?

Selling it to other Type-S wanna be's has been brought up but that might encourage the theft of more "Type-S" logos. Maybe putting on the dash, most manufacturers like to put their name by the glove box. What are your ideas and suggestions?

How about using that as a pendant on a fat gold chain necklace like they did back in the 80's!!

I wonder if it'd look cheesy along the front 1/4-panel past the front wheel well, but before the door. My Isuzu Rodeo has "V6 Rodeo" there in chrome, and it looks ok. I like the smooth lines of the Type S -- so I don't know how effective it'd be in this place.

Cool

It's too bad that the Monty Python group has "retired". I suspect they'd have at least a couple of suggestions (excluding the Norwegian Blue, of course).

If you want to see a real nice rear end of the car, take the letters "A C U R A" off too. I did. I saw someone else post a picture of a white WDP without any rear badges. It convinced me to do the same.

P.S. Once you hold all the chrome badge pices in your hand and feel the cheap platic material, it makes you wonder why anybody else wants them.

P.S. Done't bother asking me for them, I'm holding on to them for when and if I re-sell the car. As cheap as the badge pieces are, thgey may make a difference for someone else.

The de-badged WDP was probably mine. Pics can be found under my post topic "pics?" I like the look as a matter of personal preference. Little beemers wonder what just blew past them.

Just make sure you put the letters back on in the right order. You wouldn't want to mis-represent your car now would ya

Seriously, you can stick the emblem on your
steering wheel. It kinda gives the look of the sport package BMW M steering wheels.

Then you'll get a kewl reverse "Type S" imprinted on your chest if the airbag goes off!

I like the way Nate put the emblems on his car. Granted, they are still on the outside but they are very clean looking, IMHO.

Mine came off today! Looks great. My wife said leave them on, they look good. I said thank you for your opinion and turned the hair dryer back on!
