I'm fairly sure the 6th generation Accord wheels will fit our TLs.

Yeah, most of the Honda/Acura cars have the same bolt pattern and the rims are available for cheap. Check the "Black Market" for oem takeoffs. There are also other cars which could provide donor 16" rims for your car. Just Google your rim size and bolt circle pattern for a match with a comparison chart available from most aftermarket custom wheel suppliers.

Sanded all the failied clearcoat and oxidation off my 01 tl wheels, bare metal with shiny rl center caps. Total cost 15 for center caps and 20.00 for sandpaper. They went from hideous to acceptable.

Might get another set for summer.

Post a pic of what you end up buying.......

The ones Skirmich posted are a great start,

Try and stay from chrome, they look nice on Harleys and Domestics. Acura TL IMO look horrible with chrome rims..

Any pics of your sanded OEM wheels? I'm interested to see how they turned out.

The first Pic Oem.
Second pic American Racing 17x7.5 They were chrome but sanded all chrome off and primed painted and sealed them.
Started with a mouse sander 200 grit and then 800 wet 1500 wet and 2000 wet. These heavily oxidized also and complete clearcoat failure

Im leaning towards to s2000 one but dont know it they fit without any mod. to the fenders.

Does the ap1 s2000 rear fit? I thought you have to get like 2 set of fronts for it to work on the tl's?

And im just looking for cheap easy to find oem ones that no one wants. Not looking for anything fancy.

haha..maybe for our cars but everyone else knows its just an ap1 wheel..yeah and i looked at the other ones..pretty hard to find on craiglist or car-parts..but ap1 are almost everywhere..price range from 150-400 a set..

does anyone have a picture of it on their car? and does it really fit with no issues..will it clear our brakes due to s2000 have high offset oem wheels and and similar issues like that..

the reason its 16 only is i have brand new set of 16 inch tires for it..
