Alphawerks headers
I didn't have much luck with these, my mechanic had to muscle downpipe to fit. The car now has a pretty noticable resonance at idle and in 500 rpm intervals up to 2500 rpm and also a loud buzz under throttle at 2500rpms. The o2 sensor is about 2mm away from the oil pan, i think that may be the cause for the buzz. Alphawerks wont replace them for the resonance but they may for the o2 sensor. I'm gonna take some pictures, i'll post a follow up when i get some results...

me too, its the resonance at idle that gets me
Does anyone know the size of bolts for the alphawerks? I got some that were a size i found from a search but they turned out to be the wrong size, I want to replace the provided ones with some locking nuts.

i have those and i get a buzz when i accelerate, my o2 sensor is close too but i mean for the price we paid for those and the gains your getting, i think they are well worth it. if you wanted them to fit perfect you should have gotten comptech. you get what you pay for man. you should be happy you were able to get headers so cheap for our cars, how do u think all those guys who got $1100 comptechs felt once they seen they could get the same gains from a $500 header? i don't know bout you but i'm happy i saved aome $$$$ for my next mod

I got the Stone headers used for $250 shipped...I have virtually 0 resonance also and they fit perfectly - but you are right, you get what you pay for usually, and its good to make sure the company you are using has some time with our cars.

I still think that for a 500 piece of tubing you should get your money's worth which means it works properly, my set resonantes constantly and I feel the buzzing is from a defect, I wanted to let other people know.
I have a kick ass lcd display that cost $250 it wasmuch more complex to engineer and produce and it came with 0 dead pixels, I feel like I got my moneys worth for that...
