All Rotora Users, PLEASE CHECK IN!
I'm doing a little check-in/survey thread for satisfied Rotora users. I always hear of people obtaining good results with these rotors, but I'm curious as to how well they hold up in the long run.
So if you own a set of Rotora rotors, please answer these questions:
1) Year of TL
2) Do you have Rotora rotors in the front, rear, or both?
3) Pads used
4) Miles on setup
5) Anti-squeal compound used? If so, paste or grease?
6) Any squealing?
Thanks!

You guys all need to go back and lube the slider tracks, the caliper bolt
-unthreaded part at top- and the contact points on the pad backing plate and end tabs
All that stuff moves- and when it moves freely- way better braking and even brake wear
No noise because its all moving properly
Also use brake caliper grease (the synthetic is cool) on the center hub lip where the rotor fits over it- prevent corrosion and sticking later, also the back of the rims where they meet the hub- same idea
Flush the brake fliuid once a year for fun too, keeps everything in top shape.

Racer
1) 2000
2) Rotora slotted front, stock rear
3) OEM pads
4) about 8,000 miles on new rotors
5) grease that came with the pads
6) no--only the ever so slightest hint of warpage when braking firm at certain speeds; hardly noticeable, otherwise very smooth braking....much better than OE..anticipate no major warpage (like the OEs) for awhile.

woooo!!
1) 1999
2) front & rear
3) Rotora H2 pads (ceramic)
4) ~4000 miles on them
5) unsure, actually got them installed because the front rotors were impossible to take off even with impact screwdriver. but I am pretty sure the shop used some sort of grease/lub
6) none at all. very quiet cold & hot.

1) '02 TL-S.
2) Rotora slotted fronts & rears,
1st set fronts warped after been used for 59K km, now on 2nd set fronts.
3) Was Axxis Ultimate (pad life 40K km, puke black dust like crazy),
then EBC green,
now 2nd set EBC green due to front rotor change and newer part design for rear pads.
4) 67 K km ago.
5) No anti-squeal compound used.
6) Squealed before, but always fixable by cleaning out brake dust & deglazing rotors
during brake services; now light squeal appeared (after installing new front rotors
and new brake pad set) only on light application of brake pedal.
