To all with hyperwhite bulb interior
Gotta question. I went to the store and wanted to purchase the Polarg M-4 but noticed that there is no indication of it being a 168. Also, for the dome light, it doesnt indicate its a 1.5. I assume its an SE-520? Fill me in. Thanks!

think you want the polarg m6!
m6 hyperwhite replaces 168 doors and map lights and trunk too. as far as the dome light. the only one i know that fits perfect without melting the plastic housing and lens, ( this happened to me) is the "mini-max" tim has them on the site. hope that helps kman156

you can also use piaa...i did , here are the #'s
i used the piaa wedge bulb-type 168/ part # 19170. super plasma. i used those for the doors, trunk, and license plate light. ( nice light blue hue ) for the map lights i used the extreme white wedge bulb 5w. will also work like 168/ part #19172. gives off a bit brighter light for interior map reading...hope this helps kman156

Actually, the polarg M6 will fit in the M4 housing.. but just make sure you don't have it on for too long.. I would expect these to be brighter tho..
and the M6 are Type W2 bulbs, which may be also used in the reverse lights..
where the M4 are the true 168 bulbs..
I also have the PIAA 19172 bulbs on my doors, and map lights..
(if I still had my sig, you would see that )

For the dome light, just get the Polarg one Tim is selling (it's a little short). Then take a piece of scrap metal and bend it to fit into the bracket. This should make the bulb "longer" and work perfectly. That's what I did.

tim sells the mini max!
specifically because it's the only bulb that fits perfectly in the dome light housing without any mods, and it does'nt get super hot! i tried a shorter bulb before the mini max, the polarg m16, got a brand new pkg of 2, want to buy? first it got jostled out of the socket when i hit a bump . then it melted part of the housing when i left my door open for like 10 minutes! the mini max might get hot too over a long period of time, i have'nt experimented, but at least i know the fit is perfect. kman156
