i'm all about black on my car, but somebody said this on a post somewhere else, but TOO much black can really take away from the car. but honestly, if that's what you wanna do, then by all means go for it bro. we support you either way.

for me, alot of people have suggested getting black chrome acura signs, but personally, i like the black grill with the chrome emblem.

but headlights, DEFINITELY do it cuz it just looks sick! haha, good luck man!

If you're not gonna do the taillights, then use red as your "accent color" - eg: red brake calipers, etc. Oh and clear your headlights!

 

Ok, here is my 03 NBP TL-S. It is somewhat a black theme, but I haven't add black rims yet.

 

what does UA5 stand for?

 

It's a model year/code name for 2nd gen TL in Japan. When you order parts in Japan, UA5 is used to describe for our Acura TL. Just like UA6 is for 3rd gen TL, Integra/RSX is DC5, Prelude is BB6, and TSX is CL7 that you might hear everyone talking.

Thanks! yeah, I got smoke tail / headlights from rockblocker. This is the standard smoke film with 20%. Darker would be 35% smoke film which you have to special request. I'm on the process of adding CF eyelids to this car as soon as I receive them from Rockblocker!

 

Lacviet your car looks really good. But i think it would look better if you had cleared black housing with a black painted grill. But thats just my opinion. BTW when you planning the nexed mega meet ?

 

actually 35% is lighter. it means it allows 35% of sunlight rays to shine through as oppose to letting only 20% through (darker)

Ha ha No, the % tint of rockblocker film is not the same as normal window tint. It's the reverse of windown tint so 35% for rockblocker tint film is block 35% of light.

I already tried the all black route with the black housing headlinghts and all, but ended putting everythinf back to original 2 weeks later. I didnt even bother posting pics here on acurazine.com. I also have a black on black TL-S
