Alignment Shop Issues
So I just got off the phone with my families favorite alignment specialists.
They won't even TOUCH my car. They are claiming it is too low, and unsafe. I was going to have an alignment done and two tires replaced on the front today, but they called telling me they wanted to raise the car an inch, and put on a camber kit.
I run the STOCK sixteens with stock size 205/60 tires. I guess I'll just have to go to a specialist?
Any advice?

same as mine- thats nothing- camber will come out at neg 1.1 to neg 1.4
and the toe sets perfect
I found a shop that has the rack recessed into the floor- so you drive straight on-
other lifts cant handle the low clearance nose on the acura when its dropped, and the angle to drive up on the lift can be extreme
thats their issue
as the shop owner said- I dont care if it drags across the parking lot- it will go right onto the lift!
More likely to find one in a modern shop with a Hunter laser alignment rack
When they installed the lift they dug the floor out first!
Make a few phone calls- look in the back of a phone book or do internet search
Places that sell and install lowering kits, 20-22 inch rims, or wide tires will have one, or know who does
Ask about the hunter wheel balancer too- really cool
the tech looked at the numbers on my readout and said oh you need camber kits!!!
Neg 1 is the limit!!!
yum slurrp 300 dollars and 4 hours install
ptttt no you dont-
he only knew how to work in the green area, not what the car will run fine with,, as proven by ziners
The laser alignment is not about the alignment- its just reflector paddles used to measure with a laser from the wheel to it, and tell you where its at currently
What you want is a 4 wheel THRUST alignment
should cost 50-60 bucks
and the toe sets perfect
