Yeah thats about how much i got mine for. But that if you get the whole kit. What i did was i got the alarm 1st which was 250 with the key code function you have to punch in a code when ever you open a door or when you 1st get in your car. Then I added all the extras which you can do little by little. I love the keycode function thing i forgot what it's called what this does is if someone jacks you at a little or some $hit or takes your car if they dont put in the right code the car shuts off and wont start again till you put the right code.

typeswork its called blackjack. i have that on my ig8000. it succs sometimes because the code wont go in and so the alarm will keep going off. im not sure if its the pad or what. i added a shocc sensor and got it wired up so i can pop my trunk and also added remote start to my car. also thinking about getting smartwindows so that i can roll my windows up and down with my remote.

I've got a Lynx 2000. The pager unit gives me extra peace of mind. Should have similar range to the Compustars.

I would go with what ANDYTRAN said 7000 with the clifford smartwindows.... sticking with smartwindows wil give you the venting option.
