Alarm keep going off at 2am

Alarm keep going off at 2am

It's like clock work, around 2am, car alarm goes off in my 2003 TLS. I lock it and the alarm beeps, red LED on driver door turns on and all.

Help! What could it be ?

Seen several times this issue, 99% of the times its the Hood latch sensor that needs to be replaced..

I second this. To test it simply pull the switch. If the problem goes away, you're good. However the computer won't know you've unplugged the switch, so if someone actually tries to open the hood the alarm won't go off.

TLs And CLs are notorious for this. I believe at one point there was a TSB on it.

I unplugged that gray connection. Going to see if it stops. If it does, I'll order a new latch. Does a new latch come with the sensor ?

No need to buy the latch itself you just need the sensor which can be scrapped in a junkyard..
