Airbag recall—-is this a problem?

Looking upwards (through the steering wheel) at the sun visor.

I just got back from the dealership. They had my car overnight to replace the driver’s airbag. About halfway home I felt something hanging out from under the steering wheel cover. See attached pictures. It’s a red wire and it’s stopping the cover from closing.

Is this dangerous? Should I just poke it back in place and reseal the cover? Or just ignore it?

I am beyond frustrated with the dealership (for other reasons—it was bad enough that I told them literally to skip the oil change though it obviously made sense to have it done now based on mileage).

On the plus side, someone vacuumed my car and I got to drive a 2019 TLX for two days.

Any my input on the airbag wires is appreciated. This is my daily driver so I need for the airbags so deploy if I’m ever in a wreck.
