Who here has cleaned their K&N cone air filter...the one that comes with the air intake? How often do i need to clean it?

I used to clean my filter every 3K miles. (So basically, that's every time you get your oil change). But you really don't have to do it that often. You should clean your filter once it looks dirty.

 

Do you ever feel any performance improvement after you clean the filter?
