Air Box

Does anyone know what that radiator looking thing does inside the airbox? I had no idea.

radiator thingie inside the air box .... you mean the filter elements ?

thats the only thing keeping road crap from blowing out your exhaust, unless your pistons take a liking for it.

he must have a 99, the 99's have coolant lines that run through the airbox and looks like a little radiator. Dont know why its there, but mine was removed with the installation of the cai.

It's used to warm up the air going into you engine.. It helps will gas mileage..
From what I've read is :
cold air = more power
warmer air = better gas mileage..
