Air Bag Warning Labels on Visors?
Anybody know how to safely (ie, without damaging the visor) remove the air bag warning labels from the visors on a TL-S? Spouse says they gotta go, but how?

Can't, I believe they are ironed on. Like a patch. If you try to remove them, it will fvck up your visor. I believe someone tried it already.

My wife removed them from my Explorer a few years ago by wetting a sponge, placing it over the label for a while, then peeling off the label (with no damage to visor). That trick didn't work on the TL-S! If it is heat-applied, anybody know any tricks for removing it (any chemicals maybe)?

My wife has a Honda S2000 with the seat belt labels covered by very nicely designed and crafted S2000 labels produced by Rick Hessel (spelling?). He does a lot of specialty items that my wife has purchased and is very happy with.

The advice given on a BMW board I visit said to try using a hair dryer on them for a few minutes. Supposedly they just peel off, but maybe BMW applies theirs differently...

I believe the BMW's are leather/pleather while ours are fabric.

Doubt you can remove, but you sure can put this over it!

I'm wondering if this procedure would work:

Just a thought: Is there a Safety Act clause that says tampering with or removing notices such as these is against the law? No problem until you get caught at the most inopertune time. Not so much for you but for the next buyer. I don't know, I'm just sayin'. JC
