Washed, waxed and did a thorough detail of the interior today. Looks and smells better than new, then I drove around the lake and got a few stares.

After washing your car, it sometimes hurt to drive it around and take a risk of it getting dirty again. I just love the look of a spotless TL

All TL owner should move down to Florida, where you can enjoy the sunshine and wash your TL 24-7, driving the TL around FL attract lots of attention. That's why Snook is living in FL too! and washing my TL is like my daily routine.

I spent all day on the interior of my car. Vacuumed, went and bought Lexol and a lint brush for my driver's side door (so I can get the dust bunnies while in traffic, etc ), Lexol'ed all the leather (Lexol is way better than Meguiars, BTW), cleaned the mats, etc.

Damn the mats are hard to get clean. The rubber all season mats I have in the front seats were caked with dirt (rain'll do that ). The rear mats weren't as bad but were still pretty nasty... managed to get them mostly clean... they could probably use a steam cleaning.

Does anyone know of any nice black rubber mats I could use for the rear? AFAIK, Acura only makes them for the fronts.

On order: 19" Alstadt IVs, 225/35ZR19 Nitto 555s, Apex'i V-AFC, Solaris 9005.

for the rear, this is what i did:

flip them over, use the backside and switched them over so the left is right and right is left (this way they will fit). here you go, you got some rubber mats

I did this during day one so I have never cleaned my rear mats.. and for the fronts I have all weather rubber mats which i got them for free from my dealer...

You have to drive it around between initial drying and final drying to get all the loose droplets of water out. But yeah, it helps if the road isn't sandy from winter.
