Ahhhh Rotors resurfaced but still having troubles!!!!

Well I took my car in to get the rotors resurfaced because my steering wheel was shaking when I was braking at 60mph. Well after I get it fixed a couple days later I still have the same freaking problem. What's up with Acura? Can't they get anything right? What should I tell them next time I go in there?

Either they didn't do it right the first time and have some a$$ kissing to do before giving them another go, or you truly need new rotors...
I'd aim for the a$$ kissing AND new rotors...

As the rotors wear down they get thinner, and therefore lose their ability to avoid warping going from hot to cold and so forth. I didn't even go back to Acura, I just went to the local auto parts store (NOT a chain) and asked for a good set of rotors made here with USA steel. I put on new pads with them and that was 60,000 miles ago and still perfect.

yea once rotors are warped ther warped for good, yea you can resurface them but the damage has already been done. the best choice is to do like chuckstl or order some good ones online somewhere.

Same problem here. Had the problem with the '02 TLS that just got totalled. Picked up the brand spankin' new '03 replacement (only 10 miles on it!), took it on the interstate, had to jump on the brakes. And guess what - same problem on a brand new car!

Took it back to them, they said "Oh, that's the ABS!" Then they drove it, tucked tail between legs, and fixed the problem.

Fuk that shyt!! I'm not going to spend my hard earned money on rotors somewhere else just because Acura can't get their shyt right. They better replace those rotors or I'm going to complaint city and start bitcching to the highest man up.

half the problem with rotors is that they have to be broken in, aftermarket or oem.

They should have replaced your pads as well. I just had new rotors and pads put on my 01 TL at 26K. The also resurfaced them at 14K but it came back. I had to kick and scream to get new rotors and pads. Find the TSB on the subject... do a search. The TSB specifically states that they need to replace the pads with "updated" pads.
