Again Again Again, squeeking sound from fornt end

I just got a complete front bakre job, I got a complete rear brake job done less than 2 months ago. I have had a metallic squeeking problem(if you remember my previous post on this) for a while now. It only happens when I have run my car for at least 30mins especially when it is hot out and I hit V-tec often. This noise is coming form the front end somewhere. I thought it was my brakes, but I must have been wrong. It happens sometimes when I am not even braking. When I hear the noise and I accelerate moderately to heavy it goes away, then when I slow down or don't acclerate hard I hear this high pitched metallic shrill squeeking noise like metal on metal or air leaking out. I don't know where the problem is coming from. I had my front suspension checked and no visable problems there. Do you guys think it could be a loose bolt on my downpipe? Or maybe a seal leak somewhere? Let me know I need to get it fixed, it pisses me off. BTW I have been driving with this squeeking noise for past 10K miles at least and car run, drives the same as it did before If not better.

Well, I was thinking I also had a problem with something squeeking/rattling somewhere up front. Checked everyting I could and found nothing loose.

About a week later I was waxing the hood and noticed it rattled when I was pressing above lock. It had been driving me crazy for weeks....I was babying the car around for fear something was about to fall off.

I was a simple fix....loosened the bolts and dropped the lock down. Playing with the rubber adjustment screwes just made it rattle down instead of up.

Well, I hope your rattle fix is as simple as mine was.....I guess sometimes you get lucky and it's just the little things that go wrong.

Could be the tension rod bushing in the front core support.

The tension rod runs from the lower control arm to the front bumper support the bushing in the bumper often causes problems

I have the same problem. Acura shop couldn't figure it out. I'm pretty sure it's because of the metal shields that covers the brake pads. It usually only happens after the first time you brake hard which shifts the shield a little, just enough to hit the rotor. Is that shield really necessary? It's really annoying especially when I have the windows rolled down.

I found out the problem! it was just rust build up on the rotors - so as the car warmed up the rotors would expand and the extra rust would cause the noise.

Man i just bought the car 3 weeks ago and was scared it was a big issue. Thank god i had the brains to buy a certified used.
