I'm planning to buy the AM off of eBay for my 2001. One of the sellers sells them with amber bulbs included, and another doesn't.

There is about a $15 price difference between the two. Are amber bulbs needed for the aftermarkets? Is there a difference between these bulbs and my stock bulbs?

Your stock bulbs are clear bulbs that emits a pale yellow light without the orange lens. Some cops might give you a ticket because rear turn sigs needs to be amber or red.

Buy it without the bulbs. You can buy the amber lens bulbs at any auto shop for way less then 15 bux for a pair.
