Question After XS Headers installed, car got a cold... raspy as hell

I had my headers installed a couple weeks ago. runs really nice. it feels a lot better on the upper end of the spectrum, but when i first start up the car, it's really raspy until it warms up. I had both midmuffs cut and a straight pipe welded in it's place. I'm thinking that could be the problem, but i actually like the stock exhaust. what do you guys suggest i do? I've heard of using a glasspack (cherrybomb) to lower the rasp, but before i do that, do any of you have any suggestions?

so do you think it would be better if i tried to reweld the midmuffs back in or should i buy a glasspack? i heard the cherrybomb glasspacks work well too. also if i were to put stock ones back in, should i put one or both? makes me regret doing it in the first place lol.

i just left it off the sound didn't last long just a few minutes until it got hot but if you plan on changing the mufflers then leave it
