AEM V2 or COMPTECH ICEBOX
either of these WILL be my next mod but im not sure which one to get. here is what i know
the AEM is like $250 for about 12HP
the ICEBOX is like $280 dunno how many HP but it wont let any water into the engine in case i drive through standing water.
any thoughts or comparisons?!

Oh, did you check out aempower.com ?? they have a great demo of V2 sound!!
Water, I've asked many people about this. Some of them told me unless you go off-road with your TL, otherwise it wonldn't cause hydro-locking.
haha...
So anyway, I went with Injen because it will sound better than AEM, and it's $50 cheaper.

If price matters...get the V2.

Personally I wouldn't get the Comptech Icebox UNLESS I change the foam filter...so if you add in another K&N filter...it's more like 280+65=$345.

It doesn't work that way....the K&N filter I'm talking about would REPLACE the foam filter that the Icebox comes with. It is very doubtfull that you have a matching filter.

yep..I got a nice k & n with a chrome cap, for liek $49 and change...but I got fucked, I ended up using the icebox as a short ram, because of my front end conversion...I so have a$332 short ram
