Does anyone have the new AEM V2 cold air intake in a 2003 Type S? I have heard that they have been having a lot of install problems on other cars. How does it fit on the TL? Big performance/sound improvement for the money???

You're not going to get a lot of responses since the V2 is not specifically made for the TLS. Maybe that's why you've been hearing a lot of fitment issues.

The V2 is for the TLP only.

 

You know I've been wondering the same thing.... If it is better, I will probably want to upgrade my AEM to the V2 this year sometime. I cant recall any members here having it or not.

 

i have the V2 on my 2000 TL, it fit easily. took about 25 min to install. it sounds amazing and at the high end the gains are good.

 

I have the V2 on my '02 TL-P... sounds great at high RPMs, but too gassy at lower RPMs and there's a loudass humming at idle.

 

Did you guys ever have just a regular CAI beforehand?
