I noticed that some vendors are selling AEM short ram intakes for late model V6 Accords and late model TL's. The one for the TL's is often listed at a higher price. Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't these two cars use the exact same size and model of intake?

Should I just buy the cheaper one for the Accord or is there a difference that I don't know about?

Yes, they are the same. The one on my 98 accord V6 and on ZodiakTL's old 2000 TL were identical (same part number and everything)

Just make sure its not for a CL/TL type S (if they even have that) .. that has a slightly different layout

 

the install directions for my AEM CAI said it was for the 99-01 3.2TL as well (J32A1).

I believe the difference on the J32A2 is that the CAI piping is a slightly larger diameter than on the J32A1 / J30A1 engines.

 

Sweet! Maybe I'll start shopping for discount Accord parts instead of pricey TL parts from now on.

Does anyone know if the Accord Sway bars fit the TL also?

 

I dont know about CAI, but the short ram is definitely the same (I think the CAI is also,but i never actually had experience with it)
