AEM intake installed!!!

Just got the AEM intake installed. it took about 2hrs. the intake really changes the sound when the vtec kicks in, its alot louder and deeper. As soon as i closed the hood and turned on the car i could here the filter suckin air. there is a slight problem though. did anybody else with the intake have a problem with the filter bunched up against the inside of the front bumper?
I went and tested it out and i could feel ithe car really pull when i got to higher rpm's. so this answers my question. NO the AEM charts on ther web site DONT LIE

How far up in the front bumper are we talking about? Minez is in the front bumper, but not touching anything. You can access it by a plastic piece right behind the bumper.

Mine sits just behind the left fog light. It's a tight fit but not really bunching up!!

Talking

Now you just have to sve up your gas money. You'll burn a lot more gas now, yes, its boasts better fuel economy but it sounds too damn good! Flooring your car up your driveway to hear the sound just isn't gas efficient unfourtunately. Now when you dust the competition they'll really hear your azz!

does barely mean that its unnoticable? cuz i want to install the CAI, but then i don't want my parents to kno that i've modded the car. I won't be using my high rpm's when i drive with my parents around, so if the sound in low rpms is unnoticable, i think i'll b fine.

Thats exactly what i want too, my dad would kill me if he knew i modded the engine. So if it doent make a lot of noise like say starting it up or coming up the driveway, i should be okay

TRUST ME....the only thing u hear is the filter sucking in air....sounds good though.................i put the hks drager exhaust on and its weird......low rpms, you hear the low pitch of the exhaust....but when i hit vtec, all u hear is the intake and not the exhaust... =(
