aem cai problems
when i ordered my aem cai, i was told that it was the same part # as for the 2001 CLS. now, my buddy has that car and aem and i helped him install it, so i got to seeit beforehand and it looked just right, so i ordered it.
low and behold it didnt quite fit. the rubber at the end of the filter was tooo long, so i had to cut about 2 inches off of it. the problem was that the 2001 CLS has the foglights placed different, so it fits perfectly. in the 2002 TLS, the fog light and its wiring harness were in the way, requiring that surgery.
just thought ya'll should know...i'll have pix up soon...
