questions from newbie poster:

'01 silver tl w/o nav
going to tint my windows soon
2 ways of doing it
1.remove glass from door and apply
twice as expensive as ...
2.apply while glass is still on door
which do you guys recommend?

i dont want people to be able to look into my car. would getting tinted windows and then a suction-shade thing for the inside, would that be enough?

sorry if i'm not making a lot of sense, head is buzzed because i was reading all the backlogs of posts on this site.

honestly, on the car i have now, i have a 34.9% platinum tint, and i would recommend taking the windows out in order to have the whole portion of glass tinted. the way mine was done, there are some spot on the corners where the tint doesn't quite go. put the damn things out and tint them. and if you want, get the suction thingie, i don't use them. but our stte can't use more than 35% tint. if your's does allow you to go darker, then go as dark as you can.

it's going to cost $350 for removing the glass and $170 for leaving them in...

on another topic, i remember seeing an automatic screen for the back windshield... but i cant find it here anymore.. was hoping to get that for my tl as well
if you have info regarding it, would appreciate it.

i haven't seen the one with the screen. it's all in your own opinion. is it worth spending the extra to have the entire window covered, or will you be satisfied with part. i paid 160 for 5 windows, but then agian. if i had to retint, i would take them all out and do a total tint. that's the way to go IMHO.
