Well... it looks like my time has come. Engine warning light, VSA, and exclamation point triangle came on at the same time. Already contacted my dealer and will be taking the car in later today or tomorrow. I can feel a little slipping followed by a hard shift when I change from 1-2 and 2-3.

So much for putting my new rims on and hitting up the skyline meet. And I thought I was finally finished with it...

 

dude that sux ass..sorry... At least you get a brand new one and get to drive a loaner for a week. I just got a new engine put in last month & a new tranny a month before that! LOL. Hope all goes well for ya

 

well now you can get the revision 2 tranny. your rims look nice now...good luck and sorry about it

Yep, my car actually falls outside of the "impacted VIN range" but I have the extended warranty.

Yeah, I picked up the Acura extended warranty when I purchased my car new in 2003.

 

I know... I've been itching to start buying parts for the swap but haven't pulled the trigger yet. How's your build coming along?

 

Coming along pretty good. Just waiting for some more parts to come in, that and I need to go make a purchase with Brandon this weekend.

That is a good thing you have extended warranty. You should be all good with a new updated tranny.

the tranny went just cause its a shitty tranny and i blew my engine cause my front main seal was leaking and the boost from the SC made the oil pressure too great and blew it off causing a drop in oil pressure and throwin a rod threw the engine block and valves crashing into the pistons. But i purchased the extended warranty when i bought the car just like death and got a brand new engine free of costs.

I had a tranny problem too but I believe I killed it during one of the storm =( took my dad more than a month to finally find another tranny and pop it in.
