Acura wood shift knob........
Just got my Acura wood shift knob, and had a question for others that have it.
On a 2000-2003 TL, does it cover ALL of the shift-rod threads, or are the last 3 or 4 exposed? I have this thing on as tight as I can, and can still see the threads. Ive been told "thats the way it is" but figured Id ask from the people who probably have the most experience.
Thanks!!!

Did you install it yourself? Because if so, it depends on how far you tightened the white inner cylinder piece as to how far down the lever will go... Unless your shifter knob was different than mine.

The ones that use the white cylinder are aftermarket pieces (I have one of those too).
The stock one doesnt require the white bushing, because it screws right onto the shift rod.
