Noted that they had to peel back the window frame on the door to get her out. This raises the issue of power windows and door locks on submerged cars . Heard that power windows get shorted out when car gets submerged . Some people say they carry a knife to cut the seat belt but have never heard of anyone carrying a hammer to knock out a window . I guess if you routinely drive a road that is beside water , might not be a bad idea to carry a hammer under the seat. Don't know how clear her head was with the beer cans and vodka bottle floating out of the car but it looks like this might not have ended as good as it did if the men were not there to bend back the window frame.

i have one of those knife glassbreaker things. never tried it out, but it looks like it wud work. it was like 9, 10 bucks. figured better safe than sorry. plus it wud make a good defensive weapon if you were being mugged at your car. one properly placed swing of it could bring anyone down.

have you never heard the women driver jokes?
besides. we all know men get in twice as many wrecks.
my only defense is. when we wreck, its because we are doing stupid things on purpose. not because we are unaware of our surroundings let the words fly...

Clearly the drinking/driving is because of some deeper issues. Issues she likely needs help dealing with, the Navy should be getting her counseling. A Lot of crap happens in the service that unless you've lived it saying things like 'she deserved it' or 'what a women driver' is really inappropriate. Online or in person. The fact you think it, and cannot help yourself from saving it says a lot about the person you are.
Jokes are funny, at one time we made fun of other races and it was acceptable. Today dropping a racist comment on a forum like this would get you banned. Sexism is just as serious.
I wonder how the women on the board feel when they read your sexist remarks? Do you think they feel like being apart of this forum? What if you find out this TL driver was a forum member?
If you wouldn't say it to her face, you shouldn't say it online. If you'd say it to her face, you got bigger problems than she does.
I hate sexism. I despise people who hide behind screens and oppress an entire group of people with their ignorant comments.
