Post Acura-tl.com spoiler?

Hello,

I will be purchasing a Type-s by the end of May and was wondering whether anyone has purchased the spoiler from this site. I am planning on buying the Blue type-s and want to know whether the color on the spoiler matches the car. I don't want to buy the spoiler and end up with someone that's a shade off. Thanks for your input.

Mine came right here from this site. Shipping was superfast. The OEM prepainted Bodykit was prepainted and a perfect match. It comes prepainted from the factory, not Tim. I had the aftermarket WW lip spoiler painted at my bodyshop, and he was able to get a perfect match

Snook,

Thank's for the info. Chances are I will purchase the spoiler from this site. Who paints the spoilers? and how difficult is it to install by myself? Thanks,

kclai

If you get the OEM spoiler, Acura paints it. If you get the Wings West spoiler, you can have Wings West paint it, or you can bring it to a body shop like Mr. Hyde did. Trust me, Tim has awesome service. I've only ordered stickers from him so far, but they came in about 2 days!! I will be ordering other stuff once I upgrade, and everything I've heard/read is nothing but praise for his business.....

I ordered the unpainted factory spoiler from Tim. It should be here by Friday.

Cost 154.00 with shipping
My body shop will paint it and install it for another 200 bucks.

BTW- I too have the Aegean Blue Pearl. Be advised, that this color is so new that the body shop will have to call for the color code.(its not out yet) That's the only way to be sure of a perfect match, assuming you buy it unpainted like I did.

I'll post a reply on how it turns out maybe some pics as well....

bluefrank,

That's an awesome price... $354 installed and painted. I'm almost thinking of going that route when I'm ready for a spoiler.

But then I know Tim does great on the colors already. And I can certainly install this myself as well.

By the way, I used to work in Corona when I lived in Pomona a few years ago. Hot as a MF down by where you live. But at least you can really drive fast down that 15!!

EDUB-TL- Your right on the money when describing the weather down here.....

tgif- 375 sound like alot of money just to install the spoiler. Even if they come to you.

My spoiler could be here as early as tomorrow. Can't wait to see it!

The spoiler arrived May 17. Will be taking it to the body shop on Monday.

The spoiler came right on time. Now I get to stare at it all weekend.
