Acura Referral Program

Hey.....heres the situation....i referred my friends parents to Park Ave....for a TL.....and this is my second referral so therefore i should recieve a $200 check right?....well i emailed the sales associate and this is his reply...MODS can you please not delete or lock this....i would really appreciate and answer to my questions first...THANK U!!!
Names have been changed.....just for privacy reasons...
Dear Mr. Shim,
Your facts of the case are not correct. When the Kims purchased the car they never brought up your name at all, it wasn't until they came back a second time to drop off some papers and or to change color did they bring your name up. At this point I told them that you were not entitled to any referral fee at all. But to show good will I said I would send you $100.00
as a referral fee. Mr. Doe has asked me about this from the beginning and I have explained this to him many times. We thank you for referring a customer to us, but that customer must give your name first as a referral not after the fact, as was the case with the Wunschels. I hope this clears up any misunderstandings and if you have any other questions please refer them to Mr. Doe.

-Bill

Mr. Doe is my sales associate with whom ive been trying to clear this up with.
Bill is my friends sales associate.......Should i be entitled to the $200 or $100 fee?....it may not be alot to u guys....but this is a ****load for me....thanx!

You refered your friends to that dealer. They would probably have gone some where else instead....You are definately entitled .
You and your friends(witnesses) should go back to that dealer and talk to the general manager. Tell him if they don't give you the full $200 reaferal. You will sued them for false advertising. Good luck!

I guess different dealers have different rules. I know where I bought my car gives you $100 for the first referral and $150 for the second, then $200 for the third.
