I went to the dealer today because the SRS light stays on, the Maintenace light flickers when starting the car, there's a squeaky sound around the driver seat and center console, the sub rattles, and the passenger seat panel is coming off...The dealer said it'll take sometime to fix so drop it off but they don't give a loaner car!! Thats ridiculous, I have 2000 TL with only 37,800 miles on it, everything should be under warranty, I want a loaner car!
It sounds to me like the only problem is that you didn't have an appointment ahead of time. If I'm going to need a loaner I have to tell them that when I make the appt. and they'll scheduled it for a day one is available, usually a week out. To just show up and expect a loaner, no way.
I spoke to Acura Customer Service about this a while back. they told me that for warranty work, the dealer should give you a loaner. If they refuse, they told me to rent a car and they would reimburse me. I would call them. Good luck.

I'm confused, so the dealer is suppose to give u a loaner car if you bring the car in for a warranty service? And i should get a loaner car if I call ahead?

Loaner cars are up to the dealer's own discretion, since each is owned independantly and NOT owned by American Honda. When AH reimburses the dealership for the warranty work, the cost of a loaner car is NOT covered, so basically the dealer eats the cost of loaning you a car.
That being said, *most* Acura dealerships, realizing that other upscale brands offer this service, will give loaner cars, provided that (a) the repair is expected to take more than a couple hours and (b) you call in advance for an appointment. Most dealers usually have a limited number of loaners and once they're gone for the day, you're SOL. Call ahead and you shouldn't have a problem getting a loaner. If you just stop by and they say, leave it and we'll take a look at it, you're probably not going to get a loaner.
