Acura Oem Radio stopped working. Wont power on but getting power.....

Has anyone had there radio just go dead out of the blue? Got into the car a few days back and radio wouldnt power on. Has power going to it as when you have the lights on it lights up. When the radio is unplugged and plugged back in you can hear it going through the cd slots but nothing more. Tape wont eject from radio either. Checked both ACC drivers and Radio passenger side and both are fine. Ive never had a radio just die on me like this and saw a few threads but with no resolution?!?!

Any suggestions would be great!

Thanks for the response. I dont think its a amp or eq issue as the radio wont power on. do you happen to have the schematics for the radio plug harness? Wondering if its an issue with the actual car wiring which I doubt.

Check for power and ground at the radio connector, there's one is constant power the other ACC power and of course a ground. If they check out ok then its the radio.
Jp32819 if you can show the radio connector diagram for the op, I don't have the service manual with me. Thanks

Thats exactly what I was wanting to do was verify the power and ground on on the car. Im pretty sure everything is fine as it does get power since the unit lights up with the headlights on and its going through the cd trays but never hurts to confirm it!

Thank you for clarifying that up! Is there any other fuses or relays that I may have over looked? Im now second guessing myself if its really the deck!?!

You should check A1, A2 for power then A20 for ground. If they check out ok then its your radio 100%

Ok based off the diagram my A1 wire is YEL/WHT rather than ORN but it appears to be the same Radio Switched Power and A2 WHT/RED ACC Main Stereo Power Supply. Anyways Im not getting anything from the A1 wire with ignition on or off. A2 turns on when ignition is on and turns off when key is out. I believe that is functioning correctly. So my question based on what you are stating if my A1 should have power and doesnt what is the problem?

Ok after reviewing the diagram this appears to be the power supplied from the radio to other things so if thats the case it would make sense. A10 is constant and getting power to that at all times. A9 kicks on when light is enabled and A20 ground appears to be good as well.

I messed up on A1 forgot to add the zero, Meant to say A10. It's definitely the radio, If you're going to purchase the same one make sure to ask for the code. You can interchange to 6cd player or single just make sure its not from a CL.
