Your previous car Before the TL

I was just wondering what type of car did people own before they bought their TL.

I had an accord.

you go to photobucket.com, its free register, it will take less than 1 minute. then when you load the pictures you will see them on the bottom. Under them there will be URl's Images, and somthikng else. cut and paste the IMAGES codes... and past them here.. and they show automatically..

No kidding? I've think I've only seen one other SE-i in my life.... Mine was that metallic black/charcoal color. I loved that car, but at around 175K, it started to leak oil from all over and would smoke after a while. The dealer jerked me around and I dropped $500-$1,500 on that car per service visit towards the end... Hence the new-to-me TL.

Was a pretty nice car for a 93. I regret trading it in since that car would have been perfect for rides where a beater was necessary, ie grocery store, movies, rainy/snowy days.

My last car was a 1994 ACCORD EX 5peed 4DR it was burgundy with charcol grey int.
This was one the first of the 94 ACCORDs sold purchased 1993. I got it a few days after they released them for sale. Honda put the car out on Thursday & I went out Sat to look at it did the paperwork went to my credit uinion Monday took the trade - in 1990 ACCORD LX in Monday night picked up the 1994 Tuesday with factory spoiler & fogs. HONDA at that time was working on the
push button map lights that we have in the TL don't know what year they put them in the ACCORD then. I had a template outline in my car for the map lights but ofcourse I did not have map lights. I generaly start looking for a new car evry 6yrs. I have had all new Honda cars. My first was a new 1980 PRELUDE in my teen yrs I got a new 90 ACCORD & then the early 1994 ACCORD the 2000TL in late 1999. Well I am thinking again that 2005 RL sure looks good to me but I might wait until 2006 to get the RL.

1995 Mercury Sable with a Spoiler... not one of those aluminum ones, but it could have almost pulled for a stock spoiler if it wasn't for the fact that my car was the only one seen in the country with it. I had a 104k on it when I traded it in for the TL, at the time it had:

Broken A/C, Bad fuel pump, bad fuel injectors, and a failing transmission. Let's not forget within the past year it also had a cracked radiator and lost both front and rear shocks / struts. Not to mention the driver side window never closed correctly. Now that I recall the memories with some form of nostalgia, the window didn't even close straight up, it sometimes pointed outwards. Nothing more embarassing that driving on I-65 towards Chicago and having a window that lifts up and stops while at a 20 degree angle away from the car. "Hey, what's goin on ladies!"

I had a 94 Pontiac Sunbird, then an 01 Mustang GT with Steeda Springs, Tokico Illumina shocks/struts, subframe connectors, Dynomax exhaust, Magnaflow X-pipe, C&L MAF, custom leather, 2 sets of Kicker components, 2 Kicker 10" L5 and pioneer deck. Sold the mustang when the baby was coming, bought the TL-S A-Spec and now I need a set of headers, new stereo and some Koni adjustables, then I'll be happy.

Previous Ride

Was a 1998 Audi A4 1.8T, Quattro, APR Stage III kit, APR Exhaust, APR Springs, Koni Shocks, 18" BBS CH, Yokohama 235/40/18 AVS, B&M short shift kit. The car was dynoed at 240hp at the wheels. Was a blast to drive. Got very expensive to maintain. Sold it in December and got the TL. No regrets, that was a fun car but the repair bills were major bucks.
