Just received the June 25th issue of Autoweek. They have a "Driving Impressions" article about the Type-S. The guy's first impression of the Type-S was a Buick. (I thought no way!) But he was comparing the way older Buicks were understated in appearance like the Type-S is but were really hot-rods. (I began to feel better about this guy.) Anyway, he really like it and it's a must read for all us Type-S owners. The article is probably on Autoweek's web site if you don't get the mag.

My friend own two Buicks, a 1969 LeSabre and a 1972 Skylark GS - neither is a slouch in the acceleration department by any means :-)

speaking of buicks, theres some cherry grand national gnx's (only 547 originally made)sitting around collecting dust.

ive seen them for around w/no miles...hard pressed to find a car that can take that thing stoplight to stoplight. 3.8L-T 275hp/360ftlb from the factory. of course they are going at auction for close to 30K.

i loved those things growing up (im 26) but never as much as my type sssssssss.
