Accord V6 ate my dust
I was heading home from Chicago on I-94 last night. As I was minding my own business driving on the far right lane going about 60mph, this modded Accord V6 coupe approached behind me fast. I ignored him in the beginning since I was on my cell. He then changed lane and came up to my left, slowed down for a second and then stomped on it. I couldn't see who's driving since he had limo black tint on his windows. I figure I have some fun with him and show him who the REAL big brother is.
So, I hung up my phone, downshifted to third and caught up to him in no time. I think he has some greddy exhaust or something (sure was loud
) After he saw me coming up behind him, I sorta see him attempt to pull on me. So I stayed in third and accelerated with him. Don't know if he was trying or not, but I didn't even have to floor my baby and was able to keep up with him already. After about 1/8 mile or so, I got kinda bored and decided to pull up next to him. So, I got up to his left and slowed down. Next thing I knew, his exhaust and intake grawled and we both took off. He had no chance, I kept pulling on him until I was about 4 car lengths in front of him and decided to shut it (was going about 110mph by then). He then did a ricer fly by and kept going faster and faster like there was no tomorrow.
About 1/4 mile from my exit, this BMW 740iL saw the action and decided to join in. I know a superior car when I see one, I didn't even bother with the BMW. The last thing I saw when I exited was the BMW chasing after the Accord. We all know what the outcome of that would be. Feel bad for the dude for getting whooped twice at the same time.

I can be a bully too, I had to lay the smack down on a vibe the other day. Pissed me off. Dude would go fast then slow and I had to keep switching lanes. Finally I pass him and he gives me a dirty look and speeds up so I can't cut infront of him to the left lane. Needless to say I got mad, switched to the right lane (there was a car in front of me in the middle lane) gunned it till I had about a 5-10 car length lead. I slowed to 75 when he caught up and this time I floored it. By the time I hit 110mph he must have been a good 20-30 car lengths behind. I slowed back to 75 and he didn't bother again.
I also pick fights with equal or faster cars as well so I'm not a complete bully.

I used to have a 95 V6 accord and I would race people all the time even to loose and have them waste gas on me

I raced a Nissan 300ZX yesterday and burned him. I was on 101 goin toward South SF. As soon as we made a turn that connects to 280 I gassed it and he did the same but he couldn't catch up.

Well, I'll have to agree to that. My number 1 memory seat position is normal driving and number 2 memory seat is the reclined position when I need to catch some quick z's before a class or something.

I bet those new Accord V6's will give us a challange at highway speeds. I have no doubt that the TL-S will spank the new Accord v6 from a stop, but the lower weight, better 4th gear, and better aerodynamics may give it the edge from 100-140mph.
Just my theory, but you never know in the real world.

My previous car was a stock 200hp AV6, and I have no doubt it wouldn't stand a chance against the TL-S, but I remember it's 3rd gear taking me to 120. It seemed faster from 100-120 than my TL-S, but the TL-S is much faster after 120. It's been awhile since I've driven the AV6, so maybe I'm wrong.
