Question

Looks nice! Did you know it would fit before you got it? How much?

I just noticed you kept the stock one on...do you plan to remove it?

TLDaddy,
EuroSport had one in stock so I tried it.
I'm planing to remove the stock one and chrome it and then put it back on.
I don't really speed so can't feel any difference.

I knew the Accord bar fits but I didn't know that it would fit along with the factory bar. Hmmm....very interesting....time to spend more money

I think it would help stiffening up the front. The TL is a pretty heavy sedan so when you make a hard turn, the strut towers will cave in under stress. The stock bar is ok, but I think with the Neuspeed bar, you should notice a difference in steering response and long sweeping turn steering stability.

A good test to see if you need or if a tower strut does anything, is take a long piece of floss tie it to the upper mounts of your suspension in your engine bay. (basically where the strut bars bolt onto) Tie it so there's no slack, you may want to experiment with different tensions. Then go out for some spirited driving. (cornering)

Then afterwards open up your hood and see if the floss has snapped. You can also do this with strut bars at set tension levels to see which strut bars resist the most twisting of the frame.

I was told by the guy who installed my coilovers that I should get a strut bar because after lowering the car is under pressure and the frame is easier to bend. He said if I hear like little cracking sound when going up a driveway then the frame is probably under a lot of stress and I should a strut bar to relieve the stress on the frame. Is what he said true? Also, anyone hear that sound when going up driveways, and bumps? like little cracking sound?

Our car comes with a factory strut bar already. The most benefit a strut bar will do is to someone who had larger rims/tires. It will help the car stabilize during hard sweeping turns and will have a better steering response.

Just to answer your question, lowering your vehicle will not put additional stress on yoru vehicle, it will put additional stress on your shocks though.
