Thumbs up Accord Crashes CL/TL Meet

Went to Casper's CL/TL meet in Westchester today. There were a total of 3 CL's (two 1st GENs and one CL-S), and 4 TL's (two TL-P and two TL-S)... and 1 Accord (me). This was my first car meet, and it really didn't matter that I had an Accord, because the guys were all auto enthusiasts anyway... so it was all good. Towards the end, security forced us out, but it wasn't a prob since Casper had a backup location lined up (while we waited for Shoof to get through all the crazy traffic everywhere). The best was when we all left the place... since I was in the back I saw all the looks all the cars got as we drove to TGIF on Central Ave. Ahh, how I love the sound of VTEC (I was playing catch up a few times because a few cars separated me from the others when we merged to that single lane road). A few of the fellas had digi-cams so I'm sure someone will post pics.
I'm glad I went because I have been thinking about getting some basic bolt-ons (I/E) after the rims I ordered from Tim get here. The Comptech exhausts are exactly what I am looking for in terms of looks and sound. I don't want two huge cans for exhausts that sound like fart pipes and these are perfect. On other forums, some people have said that they are loud while others have said they are too low. IMO the low deep hum that does not get exaggerated when you accelerate is exactly what I'm looking for. The ones
I heard were on Shoofin’TL's and SlyTLS's cars. I think Sly had the AEM-CAI and it has a sweet sound to it. Also, Sly and Shoof had the Comptech springs on their cars and the raked look that I've seen in some pictures is not that drastic in person (must be an optic trick). The Prokit's were my first choice since I want a slight drop, but the Comptech's drop is even more subtle (the roads around here suck big time).

I think these meets can be just as addictive as these forums are... so when's the next one?!?! Later.

Let the invasion begin. First the WCW and ECW invade the WWF and now this. It was a great meet though with nothing but a great bunch of guys. I look foward to the next meet. Its not like my ole COntour/Mystique meets, where all the guys were know-it-alls. All these guys were cool, and for those that said they were coming and didn't show up, we'll be watching while you sleep. Muhaaahahahaa

Yep, I woulda hoped to have had a bigger turnout.. I got stuck doing work at home, couldn't leave until 4pm, but it was all good..Look at that! I even got center stage in our Lineup! We all went out to TGI Friday's, were tempted to tell 'em that it was Casper's bday(so all the waiters/waitresses come over and sing him happy b-day), but he threatened to kick our a$$es.... so we just had some dinner and was good to go......

Very nice pictures. When they're side-by-side, you can really see how nice the new grill looks. I never noticed how different it was from the old style.

Man, I couldn't make it. Shoot. My desktop computer's hardrive went bad, just as soon as i was ready to get going to the meet. Then I had to figure what the heck was wrong with my network. Finally I took apart the desktop and disconnected the network and figured out the the messed up computer was screwing it all up. Man, I had a crazy ass day yesterday. No internet for a few hours

Glad you guys had a good time at the meet. I'll definitely try to make the next one.
