Accesorry pulleys during timing belt

I am going to do my timing belt this next week or so.

I love my UR crank pulley and was wondering if there were any other pulley's for our cars? Perhaps for the Power Steering or something?

I have seen some online in a set of 3 but they come with the Crank one too, and I dont need that one.

There is little to no gains from the P/S and Alternator pulley they are changed for visual reasons only.. The only important is the Crank because it takes the biggest rotational force.

Soo if you are lookin to change them for performance dont waste your money.

Yea I know I wasnt going to gain much out of it.
I just liked how free revving the engine got with that crank pulley!
(probably help with the MPG's a tad bit too)
I want it to revv as easily as Fatty's lol
And I figure since the little things add up...

They wont add anything other than looks. You want yours to rev like mine you are going to have to disassemble the motor and re-build it to do so

leave the other ones alone

for easy power mod= intake manifold, clean up intake manifold ports with a dremel.
open them to match gasket size to engine by removing rough edges
Also do the egr passage and port service
I am assuming you have removed the intake resonator box?
seafoam thru gas so injectors are clean as possible, 1 can to half tank- do twice
or once thru tank and half can thru intake master vac or tb throat, with 2000 rpm on warm engine
blast intake valves and piston tops CLEAN,,,right now!

just had my bike carbs off- looked right into back of intake valves- spotless!!!
seafoam used correctly- really works
improves TL performance and mpg

Yea thanks guys!
I would at least ask.
Gonna get the $200 kit off Amazon this weekend and got a shop to do it for $400!
Its a strictly import tuning shop (they do crazy turbo setups and other cools stuff, so seems good place to do it)

Those 2 are the easiest to install.

Ill assume you have an automatic, You will need a 6 speed swap to eliminate the TQ converter since its heavy Vs the flywheel setup, Less rotational mass.

Theres also a thread about swapping out the intake manifold from an
09 TL Sh-Awd, Breathe more.

Correct me if Im wrong guys , Im sure Im correct since I've held a few converters and weight a couple of pounds.

No, Im doing the Timing belt.
I got the kit for $200 and a shop to do the Timing Belt for $400.
Every single thing else I have done myself, I know about DIY.
Im not that dumb guys.

I just thought that while I had the option I would look into it.
So far I will also be doing

- Water pump
- Power steering belt
- Timing belt
- Tensions
- Bearings

Anything else that I should consider?
Oh I just remembered that I could have the Cam Seals replaced as well?

Ohhh so the timing belt kit cost 200 and the shop will install it for 400... Wasn't really clear on that XD

Cam and crank seals are a must! You wont be in the timing belt area for a while (Until the next kit) and if the seals leak its gonna be a real PITA and $$$ since you wont be doing it yourself.

Hey so I got this timing belt kit here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Acura-CL-TL-MDX-Honda-Accord-Odyssey-J30A1-J32A-J35A-Timing-Belt-Water-Pump-Kit-/400583653589?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Make%3AAcura%7CModel%3ATL&hash=item5d44a578d5&vxp=mtr
And noticed it didn't have the hydrolic tensioner. Should I get that as well?

And I messeged them after I saw that the Water pump itself was not an AISIN one. And the Belts are ITM ENGINE COMPONENTS.

Are these parts to avoid?

Timing belt is pretty easy to DIY it, 1 thing that helped me were document fasteners. My car is currently on jack stands since my underdrive pulley can't be tightened properly :/.(no impact gun)

I've read about installing the pulley on AT cars without the impact, but was provided with no pictures. It required shoving a screwdriver somewhere in the flywheel. If anyone can help show me where to shove the screwdriver, that would help me!!!
