Spray right were it bolts to the floor, I used one of the 3-1 oils with the extendable spout to get down in between the seat and center console. Did it once a couple years ago and havent had to do it again.
For mine, when the seat belt is buckled in the driver seat and I moved the receiver end (with the button) I heard a the noise. So I sprayed the area where it bolts below. Just a short squirt.
The seat itself squeaking is a different squeak.

On the plus side, you should still be under warranty and just have to take the car in for adjustments.

I didnt know you could take your car to the dealership becuase of a squeek in the interior. i figured they would laugh at me or tell me somthing stupid. But yea i got the same squeeks everytime i go over a speed bump. the back seat squeeks the most. sometimes it sounds like there is a spring or something rattling in my door from the bass. anyone hear a little rattle in their door by the security sensor?

I took mine to the dealers and they said something like "Its better to leave them alone!" Or something sounds like that... They are just too lazy to do something with it? Warranty covers it eh?
RevinV12s,
Yes, they should fix it, it is part of the warranty.
Personally took my 2003 tl to the dealer (Rally Acura) like 5 time still have same noise. And if i were you, I put a complain. At least where i'm going they polite.
Rally Acura rating:
Customer support 10/10
Ability to fix problem 3/10

My 2002 TLS makes that same noise, it irritates the absolute H*LL out of me. I asked the dealership to figure out what it was and they told me it was my wheels (which are after market). Now I'm not stupid, and I can figure out that it isn't the wheels, I think they just don't want to do anything about it. I can hear it right behind my left shoulder when I drive, like it's in the back seat or something. It's gotten worse lately, so if I try to take it back there and get it fixed, what exactly do I tell them to do? Anyone who has had luck, please help!

Hey! I Have Got Something To Say. It Is So Important That It Has Be In Bold! I Have The Same Damn Issue, It Fucking Annoys Me. However, The Most Annoying Part Is That Acura Does Not Give A Fuck. They Can Give Us A Different Excuse Everytime. I Have Been There Trying To Fix It For A Couple Of Times. First, They Said It Was The Seat Belt Causing It. Second Time, The Sunroof, Third Time, Could Not Detect Anything. After Reading A Couple Of Posts, They Are Now Saying It Is The Wheels??!! Give Me A Break!
I noticed a low rubber squeek that seems to come from the left side, just behind me in the drivers seat. Kinda like it is coming from where the seat belt loop is on the B-pillar.
I found that if I support the door sill on the top (windows closed, but where the window would go into as part of the door fram) with my fingers firmly pushing the door frame upwards, it goes away.
One day I locked the keys in my car and to unlock the door the locksmith had to pull the upper door frame apart from the car cabin, using an air bladder. This does little in the way of permanant bending but I tried to bend it back inward for good measure, thus creating a tighter fit of the upper door. I havent really noticed the squeek since to be honest!
Other than the sunroof rattling (yeah I had the anti-chaffe strip installed under warranty) my TL is pretty rattle free at close to 50k miles. Lucky I guess...

my squeeking came from the passenger side's belt buckle. It only took me like 4 months to figure that out. I noticed it only happened when someone was sitting in the passenger seat, and then later we tried shaking the belt buckle while the belt was snapped in, and viola! the squeek was imitated. I have yet to spray some WD-40 on it, but i'll let you guys know if it works.
I noticed that too with the drivers seat belt. When I hit a left hand turn I would hear it squeeking!
I didnt use WD-40, I had to improvise. I had some lip balm that is in a plastic dome-like applicator. It has a little hole on top where the lib balm comes out. I know, goofy, but one time it drove me nuts and I squirted the stuff down there. Quiet as a mouse since then!! lol... go figure!

diddo. I found that it was the lumbar back adjuster rubbing on the handrest! It drove me nuts for a while because i really thought that it was just the seat and needed to bring it in to see what it was... a little balm on the and rest and problem solved!!
