This may belong in Parts and Performance, but I wanted to post it here so it can get more exposure. I just bought a Neuspeed upper strut bar from the Black Market, and I need to know how much torque is the recommended amount for tightening the nuts. I searched AZ, I checked the Neuspeed site, I e-mailed Neuspeed but I haven't gotten a response in a couple of days. I found one thread on here where someone suggests 10-12 ft/lbs, but looking at the installation instructions for an Accord strut bar, Neuspeed recommended 33 ft/lbs. Can anyone please provide me with this info?

 

Check the torque of the bolts where the bar mounts up and use the same number

12 sounds low

thats what the spark plugs are set at

33 about right- the oil drain plug is 29 ft lbs
