Hopefully this can help some of you to save some money. I am a tech for chrysler so of course i tried to fix my self. I had a check enigine light so i checked it out and i had a number 3 and 5 misfire. granted my car was fine and then instantly ran horrible. So i swapped coils and code came right back, then i switched spark plugs came right back. then i swapped injectors and guess what it came back. now im mad. i dont understand. then i used a noid light to check the pcm pulse on the injectors and to no surprise it was ok. then i compression tested all cylinders and they were ok. i said forget it ill take to acura. you know if a coill goes bad it can cause multiple misfires. even swapping cylinders wont help unless you take the bad coil totally off the car. so maybe this will help diag a similiar problem. i know the guy at acura so it only cost me 70.00 but obviously some of you guys do not know some one at a dealer that wont try to take your money. any questions just email me.

just got back it was a coil. i bad coil can cause that problem if you know which cylinder is the main cause go get a new coil and swap it out immediatley your car will run smooth again.

 

having a spare coil is not a bad idea either.

Also bad O2 has been known to cause the misfire code on these cars (especially when its a multiple) And the TCS light is programed to come on with the CEL for some things. Dont ask why thats just they way its programed
