one of my hi beams went out recently (passenger side) so i went to dealer and got a replacement bulb, put it in and its still not working. the regular lights you use at night work fine on both sides...

any ideas what this could be?

 

Does it always work when it's just in daytime running light mode? Or does that "DRL" light in the gauge cluster come on sometimes?

 

Switch out the bulb working with the one that is not. See if it's the bulb before you do anything else. Sometimes new bulbs don't work or are defective. Then check the connection/fuse.

 

the daytime runners dont work...the DRL is always on in the dash...nightime lights work and driver side hi beam works, its just passenger hi beam that never works...and runners...ill try swapping the driver hi beam with passenger and see what happens

 

If it's not the fuse or loose wiring, your DRL module most likely needs to be either replaced or repaired. I've heard about problems with the soldering in them and they can be re-soldered. I've been having similar problems.
