If it doesn't have power, you probly have a timing belt that was put on one tooth off. Most timing belts will start if off, but will be gutless. I would definately take it back to the dealership and make them recheck the timing marks.

I live in the KC area, Lawrence. Was it superior acura, or jay wolfe acura? I've had good service from superior every time I've been there.
Edit: i just noticed you said honda-acura shop. What shop did you take it to?

Hey man, I'm from KCMO, next to Liberty area. I've taken an old accord i used to own back in HS to Imports Only. They had the best prices of any places around. Like the people said earlier, just take it back and have them check it out again. Nice to see other Acuraziners from the KC area.

Yeah, its not to hot around this area as far as 2nd gens go. There are a retarded amount of 3rd gens in the KC area, none really modded at all though. Oh well.

Just got my car back.. It still feels like something is missing.. The engine doesn't idle as smooth as it did before I got the timing belt changed.. I notice the steering wheel has a slight vibration that wasn't there before... They told me they checked it out and everything looks okay.. Of course I don't trust them... my question is.. What do I need to check out?

I have a friend mechanic that works at a local honda dealership... I should of had him do it the first time but for 500 dollars through where i bought the car was a really good deal...

btw i'm getting about 300 miles per tank. I pump premium fuel. I think the octane around kansas city is 92 or 91. Is that normal?

Did they replace the spark plugs by any chance?

Do you know what brand/model plugs they installed?

I picked mine up today after t-belt, h2o pump, seals, and tensioner. 2002 TLP with 112,000 miles and the timing belt looked damn near new - teeth in great shape, back was good also. That being said, I don't have any of the symptoms you're experiencing. Take it back or somewhere else to have it looked at. After a presumable second "all-clear" opinion, then you're being paranoid. If a different shop finds an issue, then you have reason for concern.
